Victory Garden

Mid October

Had to cut don a ton of Thai Basil. Menace.

There are zucchinis!!! and I fried up some zucchini blossoms in egg and flour. Amazing.

Roasted up the eggplant last week.

Oct 4

Favas on the North side got eaten. I blame rats. Favas on the South side fared better, though I had to plant second round. Marigolds came back, as did peppers and tomatoes. The Japanese ggplants were beautiful, the Thai eggplants less so.Lots of butternit squash.

September Garden

Lots of stuff is planted and sprouting.

Chard and Kale went in ~Aug 25. Some are 4in tall, some are struggling

Zucchini went in ~Sept 1

Onions, Tatsoi, Lettuces planted ~Sept 5

Tomatoes have started to reappear on the Spring's tomato bushes. The two Fall transplants are meh.

The Japanese Eggplant is gangbusters, the Thai eggplant is struggling. Seems to have another bug problem. Will try some neem tonight.

Fava Beans went in (back bottle garden) Sept 8.
